Ráckeve Floating Water Mill
Szegedi Kis István Promenade, Ráckeve
This reconstructed floating water mill is the last of its kind in Hungary. The so-called Gyurcsik No. 12 mill was rebuilt between 2007 and 2010 based on the surveys of Ferenc Mendele and through a remarkable community effort.

Fire Tower Lookout
Ráckeve, Old Town Hall Tower
The Fire Tower Lookout opened to the public in June 2009 in the tower of the historic town hall building.
The nearly 40-metre-high viewpoint offers a unique panoramic view over the Ráckeve region. It is a popular attraction for visitors as well as locals who wish to admire the surrounding landscape from above.
Due to winter weather conditions, the lookout is open seasonally from early May until the second weekend of October.

Savoy Castle
Kossuth Lajos Street, Ráckeve
The most impressive building in Ráckeve is the Baroque Savoy Castle, whose construction began in 1702 based on the plans of architect Johann Lucas Hildebrandt.
The castle is considered one of the earliest examples of secular Baroque architecture in Hungary. Currently, the building can only be viewed from the outside.

Statue of Prince Árpád
Árpád Square, Ráckeve
Next to the Savoy Castle stands the statue of Prince Árpád, created by sculptor Gyula Szász from zinc alloy.
The statue depicts the legendary Hungarian leader pointing forward with shield and cloak. It was unveiled during the Millennium celebrations and remains the only statue of Árpád located outside Budapest.

János Vitéz Decorative Fountain
Szent István Square, Ráckeve
This decorative fountain, created in 1999 by sculptor György Markolt, is based on a local legend.
According to the story, the character of János Vitéz in Sándor Petőfi’s famous poem may have been inspired by a local man from Ráckeve — János Nepomuki Horváth, who later became a hussar captain.

The grave is located next to the Calvary Church in the Catholic cemetery of Ráckeve.

Customs House
Kossuth Lajos Street, Ráckeve
Located at the foot of the Árpád Bridge, this Neo-Baroque building dates back to the mid-1930s and was designed by architect Artúr Sebestyén.

Statue of Saint Stephen
Szent István Square, Ráckeve
The statue of Saint Stephen, the first king of Hungary, was unveiled on 20 August 2000.
Created by Munkácsy Prize-winning sculptor József Rátonyi, the statue stands in front of the Town Hall.

Boat Market (Csónakos Market)
Ráckeve
The Boat Market is located in the very centre of Ráckeve, along the Danube promenade.
This lively market provides local farmers and producers with a place to sell their goods. In addition to fresh produce and handmade products, visitors can also find a wide variety of other items.
Markets and fairs have been held in Ráckeve since the Middle Ages, and today the market is especially popular for its local gastronomy and regional specialties.
